Day 1 – Welcome to Delhi

Day 2 – Delhi on Your Own
This entire day is yours to enjoy as you wish in this vibrant and historic city. Visit the iconic India Gate, a great archway situated in the heart of the city, or the imposing Red Fort, a Mughal fortress that has been transformed into a series of enthralling museums. Enjoy all of the great food and friendly atmosphere that Delhi has to offer, and do it at your own pace!
Day 3 – Old & New in Delhi
Your guided sightseeing begins this morning with a drive along the grand Rajpath to Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India. Explore Old Delhi by pedicab and meet merchants at the Spice Market. Visit the 19th-century home of Urdu poet Mirza Ghalib and learn about India’s ethnic diversity at Bangla Sahib, the city’s largest Sikh Temple. Then drive past the India Gate to visit two World Heritage Sites, Qutab Minar and Humayun’s Tomb. Enjoy dinner with wine and beer at Lodi Garden Restaurant. For an engaging experience, you can encounter India’s rich multicultural diversity at Delhi’s largest Sikh temple, rarely visited by other travelers.
Day 4 – Travel to Agra
On day four, you will travel to Agra and check in to the Radisson BLU Hotel. In the evening, our exclusive Heritage Walk takes you to rarely visited landmarks and explores colorful markets alive with the spirit of Agra’s locals. You can join Agra residents yourself in experiencing the lively evening markets of this ancient city.
Day 5 – The Taj Mahal at Sunrise and Sunset
Arise early to visit the crown jewel of India; the Taj Mahal. As the sun casts its first light upon the iridescent white marble of this famed monument to an eternal love, the Taj Mahal looks almost ethereal. After that beautiful sight, you can enjoy a guided visit to Agra Fort, which is a stunning example of Indo-Persian design. In the evening, we take you across the river to Mehtab Bagh, a park that offers magical views of the Taj Mahal in the golden light of sunset. Day 6 – Onward to Jaipur
Venture off the tourist path to the Rajasthani village of Abhaneri to visit the 8th-century Harshat Mata Temple. Nearby the temple, you will be entranced by Chand Baori, a thousand year old, elaborately carved step well with 13 levels of winding stairs that descend 65 feet. For centuries, these wells were used to collect rainwater during the monsoon season in the region. Now they are a monument to human ingenuity. Continue to Jaipur and check in to the Trident Hotel. In the evening we take you to Birla Temple to witness Aarti, an ancient Hindu ritual of light and devotion.
Day 7 – Explore Jaipur
Enjoy an expertly guided tour through the Amber Fort, which is home to palaces, gardens, pavilions and the magical Chamber of Mirrors. Afterward, you can see the famous Palace of Winds, tour the City Palace Museum, and visit Jantar Mantar ā an observatory with accurate stone instruments built in 1726. Tonight’s dinner in the inviting home of a Jaipur family promises congenial conversation as well as rich insight into daily life and India’s fascinating culture.
Day 8 – Return to Delhi
On the last day of your trip, you will return to Delhi, the city where it all started. You will enjoy a dinner at the Pullman AeroCity Hotel before we take you to the airport for your departing flight. The memories of this amazing week in India are sure to keep you company on your way home.
